A decorative stove with hinged pierced cast iron access door.
This stove is in the original black enamelled cast iron and is complete with its own trefoil shaped hearth and original ashpan.
The fire retaining bars have geometric decoration with a central diamond while the access door, sides and top are all diamond pierced.
The door lifts and pivots up to allow fuel to be loaded - this has given rise to the name of the stove as the Breadbox.
The oval flue outlet (8 inches wide x 3.5 inches high) comes complete with a damper but will need an adaptor making to join with conventional circular section flue pipe.
